Hello everyone,
This weeks special were pretty good. #1 Oven-roasted Prime Rib with Au jus and Horseradish Cream. #2 ( my favorite) Rosemary Skewered U-12 Shrimp with Stone ground grits, and Boursin Cheese sauce. The prices vary depending on the product. We have items ranging from $12.95 to $27.95. Both these items were on the higher end.
A couple other things for those who don't know: U-12 means there are 12 shrimp to a pound, so these shrimp are huge. Boursin cheese is a super-soft cheese seasoned with garlic and herbs.
If you have anymore questions please post them. Have a good day.

Yes, I have a question, Do you have a value menu?
Thanks for the explanations. Sounds very tasty. Stone ground grits are more coarse, right? I think grits are better when they are courser.
The Baddeley Dollar menu please.
I would like the Hambeurgeur with Fromage, Le'ttuce, Toe-Mah-Toe & a stone ground, wheat germ bun.
Dude, reading your blog posts is bad... i always end up eating right after reading your blog. And then I hate what i eat. Because what I eat sucks compared to what you write about.
Yes, bekster they are more coarse and therefore you have to cook them longer. On the other end of the grit spectrum is polenta. Its ground very fine, like sugar. The coarse you cook slow and low. Polenta you bring your cream, milk, or water to a boil, add polenta and turn off heat and stir.
Danny we do have a value menu. All our Country classics such as Liver 'n' onions, Beef stew, Fried Chicken with Sawmill gravy, fried catfish ith hushpuppies. All of these things go for $12.95. That cheap for our menu. Does anyone know how hushpuppies got their name? Just a fun question.
they were made as dog snacks to make the "puppies hush"
Until Microsoft develops a scratch and taste computer screen, this is officially the worst blog ever. (insert sarcasm here.)
I'm jealous.
philip... MSFT has already done the scratch and taste computer: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CZrr7AZ9nCY
Pete is actually right. All the fishermen would take their dogs fihing with them but when they would bark they would scare all the fish away. So they made dog snacks out of cornmeal and would say hush puppy hush. Now, if you go on a carriage ride in downtown Charleston you'll get some bologne explanation which is true but not where they originally came from.
